Dr. Melissa Lin, a native of the south Bay Area, completed her undergraduate studies in Biology at UC Berkeley. She then graduated with honors from the UCLA School of Dentistry and pursued further training at the San Francisco VA Medical Center, where she earned her General Practice Residency certificate while serving veterans.

Dr. Lin chose dentistry as her career because it merges science, art, and problem-solving, allowing her to help people daily. She values getting to know her patients and working together to develop treatment plans that meet their goals. Her aim is to provide the most effective and minimally invasive care possible. To support this, she focuses on helping patients understand their oral health and treatment options, enabling them to make well-informed decisions.

In her leisure time, Dr. Lin enjoys visiting national parks, cheering on the Warriors and Sharks, reading novels in cafés, and exploring new restaurants with her husband, Michael. She is always open to recommendations for books and podcasts.
